Galileo Whole Body Vibration
Galileo Whole Body Vibration is a company at the leading edge of health and fitness equipment. As the Australian distributer of the Galileo, a machine used to train performance athletes and cosmonauts in the Soviet Union, they needed a site targeted to a number of different end users. From sporting clubs and gymnasiums to physiotherapists and other health-care professionals, it was important the the site has the right mix of easy to read "brochure-style" text and images, as well as more detailed technical documents. The site graphics are tightly linked to the printed marketing material and other corporate identity documents.
This website was a collaboration between underscore and Architect and Graphic Designer Matthew Blair.
Owners Corporation Network of Australia
The Owners Corporation Network of Australia is the peak body representing apartment owners, with most members drawn from Owners Corporations’ Executive Committees (ECs) or concerned apartment-owners from large developments in Sydney.
underscore designed the current iteration of the website to reorganise the existing content and to provide a more professional and consistent graphic styling to the site.
Altair Apartments
Altair is one of Sydney's most prestigious apartment buildings, recognised in the annual World Architectural Awards as the best residential block in the world for 2001. Praised for both its sharp contemporary design - by award-winning architects Engelen Moore - and its environmental sensitivity, it has been lauded as a blueprint for the future by arbiters of style from across the globe.
This website was designed primarily as a noticeboard for residents, allowing the display of relevant news items, Executive Committee minutes, Strata by-laws, etc.
Tina Engelen, one of the award-winning designers of Altair, has praised the building's website, as a stylish asset for the apartment complex. She said she was also very impressed at the numerous weblinks it contains, showing the kind of businesses some of the residents of Altair run, saying when the site was released:
I think the new Altair web site is terrific. It's very professional yet aspirational to future investors, tenants and residents. The web links showcasing the network of clever people who live within the building is inspired.

Dental and Oral Health Therapists Association QLD
DOHTAQ is a progressive Queensland body representing dental and oral health therapists which provides leadership, collaboration and advocacy and continuing professional education to enhance the profession and oral health outcomes for individuals and the community.
The DOHTAQ website was designed in such a way to make it easy for the members to update the content themselves. It is driven with a Movable Type backend, which while usually better associated with personal blogs, was appropriate given the simple nature of the site.
A Coffee with Jimmy T
The new website for writer, journalist and tv writer extraordinaire Jimmy Thomson is nearing completion. The theme of the site is "A Coffee with Jimmy T", with Jimmy contributing regular reviews of Sydney's cafes. One of the regular features of the site is "Flat Chat", an online version of Jimmy's weekly Sydney Morning Herald column about apartment living.
When finished, site will run on a Movable Type backend, allowing Jimmy to easily update content himself.
